Honored by the Project Management Institute with “Best of the Best” Distinguished Contribution Award for his “dedication to the profession and practice of project management” and “sustained performance and contribution to the advancement of project management.”
2009 IIT Professional Achievement Award
Recognized by the Illinois Institute of Technology (where Prasad received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering) as “an individual who has achieved personal success, made an outstanding contribution to his/her field, and achieved recognition by his/her colleagues. This award is one of the highest distinctions the university can bestow upon its alumni. Past alumni award winners have invented magnetic tape recording, been recognized with India’s highest honor, and even held the office of Governor of the State of Illinois.”
2005 Innovate Illinois Award
The State of Illinois recognized Constant Compliance, Inc., co-founded by Prasad in 2000, as the most innovative small business in the state in the environmental category. Innovate Illinois is a highly selective entrepreneurial competition where innovative companies have the opportunity to compete for a large cash prize. It is designed to encourage and reward companies for implementing or planning innovative products, services, or processes that have or will have a lasting economic effect on Illinois.
1995 USEPA Pollution Prevention for Environmental Excellence Award
Acknowledged by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7, as a leader who “is taking positive steps to implement pollution prevention measures to protect and enhance our environment.” Prasad’s project “clearly demonstrates a positive effort to reduce pollutants and waste at the source.”
